Letter by Michael

I welcome this opportunity to stand back and to reflect
on the work of the Newlyn Fish Industry Forum since we were
established in 2001. In fact we are fast approaching our third
anniversary and I want to pause for a moment to look at what
has happened thus far and to make sure we have the right bearings

Newlyn Art
Gallery News
The Gallery’s plans for development in Newlyn
and in Penzance have taken a big step towards going ahead, with
funding being agreed in principle from ERDF Objective One and
the Arts Lottery Capital Programme. Penwith DC and the County
Council have both offered contributions to the cost and this
is particularly important because in the arts sector, local
government support unlocks the door to other public and private
funding sources.

Enhance and Maintain

the Public Meeting in St Peter’s Hall on 11th March. 23

Tolcarne and Street-an-Nowan led by Nick Howells, Newlyn Town
with Grevis Williams and the rest of the Conservation Area towards
Sandy Cove with Ron Hogg. The work—to identify problems,
