The present plans for The Centre have arisen from consultation and expressions of interest. It is intended that the plans remain flexible so that the Development Group are able to respond to local needs and to play a full part in the social and economic regeneration of the community.

It is hoped that the Centre will enable and encourage, through its facilities and programme, the raising of skill levels and aspirations among the community, building on and enhancing Newlyn’s many positive features, increasing opportunity, reducing exclusion and developing the social cohesion to ensure the long-term success of the best endeavours of everyone involved.
